Teachers, principals, and guidance counselors all help the children of our community to succeed at school and in life. To show our appreciation for their efforts towards one of our main goals—helping children and improving the community by doing so—we host annual appreciation events for these individuals.

Spring Appreciation Meeting

In the Spring, we invite our community’s principals, teachers, and guidance counselors to one of our meetings to share their school’s needs and program ideas. A gift is given in appreciation for their continue support of our Terrific Kid, Kiwanis Kicks, Key Club, Project Smile, and K-Kids Club programs and their hard work at each of their schools.

We also work to help meet the needs of the schools, partnering them with other organizations in the community that may be able to provide additional help, and help to further or begin new beneficial programs at their schools. This collaboration event is one of our biggest Teacher Appreciation efforts and one we strive to continue each year.

Teacher Appreciation Programs

We also have Teacher Appreciation programs at 3 local middle schools as a way to say “thank you” to the hard-working teachers in our district. Our goal for the coming years is to expand this program to more of the schools within the Brandon area.

Donations made by our corporate sponsors and private contributors help to keep these programs alive and growing! We appreciate the support we receive from our community that allow us to forward the goodwill to members in our community who deserve our attention and appreciation.
